Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi
On the first day of your Fes tours 2 days, which departs on the early morning from the imperial city of Fes, you will take the road to the Sahara desert to explore a totally different side of Morocco's diverse culture as you'll notice the change in landscapes from the eventful alleys and the monumentally rich imperial cities to the cold and European styled cities of the Middle Atlas and to the sandy world of the desert. As you depart from Fes with our Fes desert tours, you'll pass by Ifrane, “Switzerland of Morocco”, famous for its serenity and very cold and snowy weather. It is home to some beautiful gardens, a very clean environment and Al Akhawayn university. On your way to Merzouga with our Fes desert tours 2 days, you will also pass by Azrou, Ifrane's neighbor and the capital of the Berber community in the Middle Atlas where you will also check out the Cedar forests, inhabited by the playful Barbery Macaque monkeys. Before arriving at the desert, you will pass by the beautiful town of Midelt, which is a small Berber town located between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas mountain ranges at 1550 meters above sea level in an apple country that is also rich with minerals. Upon your arrival in Merzouga, you will have the choice of either taking a 4WD or a 40 minutes camel trek during the beautiful sunset to your luxury desert camp, located in the middle of the golden dunes of the Sahara desert. You'll enjoy your traditional Madfouna dish for dinner to the rhythm of folkloric drum music under the light of the shining stars before spending your night with our Fes desert tours in a luxurious bivouac tent.
Day 2 : Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Errachidia – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
After enjoying a magical night in the middle of the golden dunes of the Sahara desert with our Fes desert tours, you will wake up early on the morning of the second day to enjoy the view of sunrise and to rejoice some free time to take pictures and do some activities like sand boarding. After savoring your delicious breakfast, you will get ready to leave the magic of the Sahara desert on either a 4WD or a camel trek to Merzouga, from which you shall take the road back to Fes, passing again by the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains and its wonderful and European styled cities as in Midelt, Azrou and Ifrane. Upon reaching the imperial city of Fes, our driver will drop you off at your Riad/hotel to mark the end of an unforgettable Fes desert tours 2 days.
